The Two-Echelon Dual-Channel Models for the Intermodal Container Terminals of the China Railway Express Considering Container Accumulation Modes

China Railway Express (CR Express) is a pioneer of the Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Road. The intermodal container terminal system consisting maritime railway investigated in this paper. It connects shipping route CR route. Typically, there are two accumulation modes to dispatch train, i.e., fixed-length fixed-time modes. can be formulated as two-echelon dual-channel supply chain model. steady-state probability matrix obtained by solving equilibrium equations. cooperation between considered accelerate containers. total revenue terminals used key performance indicator. Numerical experiments conducted compare accommodation situations with without also compared modes, respectively.
